What we collect
HomeBaseTV does not create accounts, does not require sign-in, and does not collect personally identifiable information.
Your preferences — city, ZIP code, selected stream, and ticker configuration — are stored locally on your Apple TV using Apple's UserDefaults API. This data never leaves your device.
Location
If you enable location in Settings, HomeBaseTV uses your approximate location to provide local weather context. Location data is sent directly from your device to the Open-Meteo weather API and is not stored or associated with any identifier by us.
Network requests
HomeBaseTV fetches publicly available data directly from third-party sources including news RSS feeds, weather data (Open-Meteo), market quotes, sports scores, and traffic information. These requests are made directly from your device. We do not proxy, log, or store any of this data.
Analytics and tracking
HomeBaseTV contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, no crash reporting services, and no behavioral tracking of any kind.
Children
HomeBaseTV is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Data deletion
Delete all app data at any time via Apple TV Settings → Apps → HomeBaseTV → Reset, or by deleting and reinstalling the app.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy we will update the effective date above and post the revised version at this URL.
